Chinese Door Games
Room Number TBC

Before the ceremony, there will be a short Chinese tradition known as the Door Games. In simple terms, the groom needs to earn his way to the bride. Expect light-ish challenges, laughter, and a little friendly pressure from the bridesmaids, all in good spirit.
It’s playful, slightly embarrassing (for him), and a joyful way to start the day before things turn a little more serious.
4 pm
Tea Ceremony
Room Number TBC

A Chinese wedding tradition where we serve tea to our parents and elders to say thank you for everything.
They bless us for the journey ahead, share a few words of wisdom, and officially welcome us into the next chapter. It’s heartfelt, intimate, and occasionally emotional, in the best possible way.
5 pm
Western Ceremony
Kun Lun Ballroom 12F

Chi will be walked down the aisle by her dad, who will then lovingly place her hand into Tom’s.
It’s a moment filled with pride, gratitude, and very likely a few tears. You may want to have tissues ready. Even if you don’t cry, Chi almost certainly will.
6 pm
Reception
Kun Lun Ballroom 12F

The reception will follow a Taiwanese wedding style, where good food and good energy take centre stage.
Enjoy Taiwanese cuisine, a few light-hearted games, a couple of speeches, and some dancing as the evening unfolds. Drinks will be flowing, so things may get a little boozy, just go with it. Don’t worry, Taiwan is extremely safe. Nothing bad will happen, except maybe a mild headache the next morning.
